Just as a starting point...

1) In the spotlight we have Corinthians signing Ronaldo (o fenômeno).

2) São Paulo, by far the most organized, stable and powerful club in Brasil, 3 throphys in a row.

3) Internacional, so far one of the best teams, with players like D'Alessandro and Nilmar trying to make it in 2009.

What's your bet for brasileirão 2009??

All I know is I plan on getting PFC so I can finally watch the games! Trying to follow serie A without having the ability to watch the games pretty much misses the point.

I *like* to think that Flu's focus on the Libertadores at the beginning of last year's Brasileirão set them back until it was too late to recover....but if that was the case, then how did São Paulo win it all again? I mean, they went pretty far into the Libertadores as well.

I'll be safe and say São Paulo does it again. It will be nice to see Ronaldo back on the pitch with Corinthians, though.

Have you checked http://pfc.globo.com/?

There is a site called justin.tv, there you find streamings of brazilian games. But you will only know whether the game is "aired" or not few mintues before the game.

If you wanna follow gauchão There is a TVCOM live streaming at http://www.tvtuga.com/content/view/142/274/ .

e vâmo Inter.

I read that Palmeiras is going to try to bring Alex back from Fenerbache in 2009! If they can pull it off, I would definitely put tham as one of the favorities with Sao Paulo and Internacional. Luxemburgo and Alex would be quite a combination for them.

Alex is not coming back.

São Paulo, Inter, Grêmio and Cruzeiro. One of these will be the champion, I believe.

I hope it'll be São Paulo. =D

But I prefer to focus on Libertadores.
