Oldest Piece Of American Soccer Memorabilia
The U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame cannot find a lot of historic items. The Lewis Cup, for instance. Also, unless some things have popped up in the last few years, they don't have any kits from the 1920s ASL, etc.
I'm curious as to what might be out there in private collections. So I ask, out of curiousity: what's the oldest piece of U.S. soccer memorabilia you have. I'm more curious about team based stuff...I know there are Spalding Guides from the early 1900s out there, but I'm interested in badges, shirts, pennants, buttons, etc.
FWIW, I have a Brooklyn Wanderers pin, but haven't taken the time to try to date the pin to see if it is from the original Wanderers of the 1920s ASL, or whether it's from the second version of that team in the second ASL.
I'm sure most of use have some decent NASL stuff, but what's out there from pre-1967?

I wonder if they tapped-out the guy (Dave Morrison) who has a Bethelem Steel site? I would think so-the Hall has a lot of info on Bethlehem Steel. But ya never know-using their search engine Rollo only comes up on the Archie Stark page/bio.

There is a mirror site being created by someone who's grandad was a player, Johnny Rollo-his daughter gave Morrison pictures for his site.

I don't think Dave has any memorabilia. I've dealt with him a few times, gave him some material for his site, etc. He's received pictures from a few family members, but I don't think he's gotten any shirts, pins, pennants, or other souvenir type stuff.
Hopefully I'm wrong!

Hey this might be of some help. I was checking Ebay out today and found a set of three original programmes from 1955,1957, and 1962. The item # is 27780063227. I hope this helps.
