Today's Premiership match between Wolves and Liverpool at Molineux has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch. The match was cancelled at around 1:30 pm, after a pitch inspection following a morning of heavy rain, which also forced a postponement of the match in Birmingham between Birmingham and Middlesborough. There has been no makeup date announced yet.

Wolves hope to have a new date announced for the Liverpool match either today or tomorrow. According to a club official, the earliest the match could be played is Wednesday, January 21. For Wolves that would come right after the home match with Man United on the 17th. Their next match after that would be at Portsmouth on the 31st. Liverpool are visiting Spurs on the 17th, and take on Everton on the 31st.
