The (London) Evening Standard carries an article today (may be reproduced on the web --www.thisislondon.co.uk --, but I read the paper edition) in which mummy Eriksson informs us all that son Svennis gets on the phone to tell her that "there's no point arranging England friendly matches in April or May because Fergie makes sure that all the necessary players are injured."
If Sir Alex's dominance of the British game has reached the point where he has the England manager crying on the phone to his ma, what chance do we all have? And will Ma Ericsson be taking it up with the FA on her boys behalf? After all, what sort of parent would stand aside and allow their child to be bullied?
