Servus aus Australien
Hi guys,
I'm new on Bigsoccer and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Julian Farrell, a fanatical supporter of not only FC Bayern but Northern Spirit FC in the Australian NSL, as well as the Australian national side the Socceroos.
I'm totally fanatical when it comes to my FCB. I have flown from Australia 6 times to support the team and was even interviewed on Bayern 3 when I flew over for the Champions League final in Milan in 2001.
I'm a regular member of the English-speaking FC Bayern email list as well as the German speaking Club Nr 12 supporters conglomeration. And, er um yes, I'm pretty much fluent in German, having studied not only at school and uni in Sydney but at the Goethe Institut in the Sonnenstrasse.
I'd love to get involved in more FCB-related discussions.
Fussballgruessen an allen Bayernfans aus schwitzigen Sydney!

No, I'll have to get a few of the regulars from the email list across, I think.

Okay, Sonnenstrasse, quite close to where I live.
I'm a Bayernfan as well. Can't wait the season anymore, now that the EM is over. Do you watch Bundesliga in Sydney?

Re: Servus aus Australien
No, unfortunately the DFB muppets have made the rights so expensive that Foxtel won't touch the Buli will a barge poll.
We get highlights watching the Deutsche Welle news. And I follow matches on Sport1.de using the Live Ticket.
I hope we get even a highlights program again of Bundesliga matches. We used to get a one hours programme on free-to-air SBS TV.
Anyway, Sup on. 2-0 gegen Rostock. At least we won!

Welcome fellow Bavarian Barbarian, greetings from New York City. Our community grows even bigger, great to see that.
What are your favorite players of the past and present? Opinions and thoughs about this season or previous? Any random comments, I'm curious to know.
