Spurs can have Morientes for £16.75M

Real Madrid are ready to drop their price for centre-forward Fernando Morientes.
Although Inter Milan are keen to have him included in the Ronaldo deal, it's understood Real would prefer to sell the Spanish international outright.

Tottenham were quoted a price of £20 million last week and so far their second round offer fell £6 million short of the valuation.

However, Real sports chief Jorge Valdano is now prepared to listen to offers of £16.75 million.

Indeed, it's reported Spurs have already made a fresh enquiry and were told over the weekend of Morientes' adjusted price. Even if Ronaldo does not arrive at the Bernabeu, Spurs can have Morientes for £16.75 million.
