I read that too. Hope not! We've got too much confusion in central midfield already with Keane, Butt, Scholes and Veron

I can't believe that Eriksson would ask Fergie to let ManU be the gineau pig. How f*#king funny is that??

Erickson is a twit. England has an overloaded center mid. ManU has an overloaded center mid. Might as well heep some more onto it, eh? He is such a football mastermind! So he wants Butt, Scholes, and Beckham to compete for the same job on two different teams...i think Sven just hates ManU.

I couldn't understand that either. It's like he's expecting club teams to be his lab to test out new strategies. I doubt Fergie will play along.

Hell no he wont. Whats he going to say "Okay, Seba, Erikson wants to see Beckham in the middle to evaluate him for the upcoming Euro in 2004, so you, nicky, paul and ratboychadwick will all be now forced to compete for right mid so the swed can get his rocks. Now, come on, think about it before handing in that transfer request."

Maybe thats it: Eriksson still has some sort of connection at Lazio and is doing everything in his power to get Veron to demand a move back.
Speculation, but...

Fine by me. As long as United get market value for him (which would be quite a bit more than Rio's fee). I was hoping that we would've sold Beckham by now. Let him and his wife go to Spain or Italy and be a headache over there. Beckham's form for United over the last 2-3 years has not been that great. He has flashes of brilliance, but he's not consistent.

Also, we need to let some of the youth develop more, especially Chadwick. That kid is the next Giggs.

As United lose out on more and more trophys, his value will slip. Soon enough people will realise that, with the exception of dead balls, we're looking at one the most hyped players in a long time. He's a great player, but he is not the savior that everyone makes him out to be.
