Good idea
I'm Scott, 32, live in Dallas but travel to NYC, DC, Boston areas about 20+ weeks a year. I watch my Man Utd games at Trinity Hall in Dallas ( www.trinityhall.tv). Play outdoor, marathon-runner, no indoor though - too many sprains (learned my lesson there lol).
I have lots of my "interests" and pics on my website - www.whigham.org
PS - MM - where is Frederick? Is that close to Rockville? I work in Rockville a few weeks out of the year...

I play soccer on a rec team, but I'm really not all that good. I watch my ManU games at home because theres no good place to do it in KC.

Who I am...
I am a 36 year old accountant. I coach U-10 soccer, we went undefeated last fall, and 3rd grade basketball. I live about 10 miles south of Cincinnati, OH. in Northern KY.
I discovered Man. Utd. when our local Fox station had a friday night EPL review show. I thought Eric Cantona was the greatest athlete I had ever seen.
I quickly got Directv so I could watch matches on FSWLD. The rest is history. I have to watch matches on PPV or FSWLD. I do not think there is a pub in this area which shows EPL. Everything around here is German.

I'm Eric. I'm 31, live in Stamford, CT (45 mins from NYC). Played soccer all my life up until recently (work is keeping me too busy). Love the game. Watch as much of it as I can. I hadn't really been too familiar with the English game until I bought the ManU 96/97 season review back in 97. Saw Beckham's half-length goal, saw Cantona and I loved the team. Supported them ever since. Saw the famous treble victory on tv in a department store's electronic section in Guadalajara, Mexico (long story). Unbelievable moment... Go United!

Hi folks,
I'm Yajur, 22 years old, just graduated from the University of Illinois and am stuck in the real world. I played soccer from the time I was about 5 years old, but stopped playing right before high school. When I started using the internet, it allowed me to follow soccer a bit, but not a huge amount. I learned about Beckham and United a bit during the 1998 World Cup, and it got me interested in the team. Saw a clip of the CL win in 1999 on Sportscenter, and I knew it was something incredible there from the reaction of the players and fans. From seeing them play even a little bit, I knew they were a great team to watch and follow. When I got to college, my roommate was a huge soccer fan, and I also got back to playing, intramural this time. I continued to follow United, but its definitely gone to a new level since I visited Old Trafford last summer (no match, alas).
I'll watch the matches either at home, or at Curragh Pub in Schaumburg, IL, or Ginger's Ale House a few blocks from Wrigley Field.
