Post Albion looking to buy a Horse?

The Evening Mail has reported that the Albion are in talks with promotion rivals Wigan Athletic to ex-Blues striker Geoff Horsfield.

With Dichio out due to injury, Hughesie out because of his legal trouble and Roberts out (on loan and injured to boot) due to his being a sulking b*****d, the Albion need another striker now. At this point, the Horse would be as good as anyone.

The Evening Mail is now reporting that Albion are to sign Horsfield from the Latics in the 48 hours.

Even if we did sign him before the Arsenal Cup match, however, he would not be eligible to play.

While I have somewhat mixed feelings about signing Horsfield, I am glad at least the Baggies made a move for someone. Let's see what he can do...

Thumbs up

Great news! I he's eligible to play for us if we need him tomorrow at Coventry, yes?

I'm very much looking forward his first performance in an Albion shirt, after tormenting us (and others) while he was with Blues.

I wonder what the Brum fans think of Albion's new signing?
