Default Wolves-Arsenal [R]

Wolves get absolutly embarrassed in the Carling Cup last night to the tune of a 5-1 defeat against, essentially, Arsenal Reserves. Wolves threw out basically their standard Premiership side, with Andy Marshall replacing Michael Oakes in goal. Arsenal did play Viera, Kanu, and Wiltord, but it was essentially the 2nd string. Alex Rae got the Wolves consolation goal, while Jermaine Aliadaire hit 2 for Arsenal. Kanu, Wiltord and Soler rounded off the scoring. Dave Jones is rather upset at the performance, hammering the squad in an article in the Express and Star today. (http://www.expressandstar.com/artman...icle_48087.php)

Wolves play their next match Saturday against Spurs.
