Default CL-Finals Statistics While I’m Bored

So I'm sitting around, reading about the CL and its previouis incarnation, and a lot of the same names keep popping up in the finals. I started counting names, and one thing led to another. Here are some statistics which prove nothing but are fun to look over...well, they were for me. Some of the team names are the German spelling, but you'll figure it out. I didn't compute all the statistics, or to the deepest degree, and I stopped listing them once they seemed ordinary. Apologies if I got anything wrong.

Yep, pretty impressive.

And Spain is nothing without Real Madrid--which of course proves how potent Real is, but that wasn't the statistic that surprised anyone.

the last 15 years??
we were banned from the champions cup from 86 to 92..
When we returned in 91 ,we were allowed a team in the CWC and one team in the uefa cup.
We didn;t return to the champions league until 92.
That was the year that the "3 foreigners " rule was introduced .That caused us some major headaches because players from scotland ,wales ,ireland were suddenly classed as foreigners....

We've only been back in this competition for the last 10 years. It took us about 6 years to recover from the isolation of the heysel ban.

Our record stands the test of time despite a long ban .

If England had not been bannd, England would be miles ahead.

Look at Real Madrids Wins V Appearances. Not so impressive.

Also, why is Man Utd missing from the appearances list? They've been in it more than Liverpool.

I think refers to the number of times each team has appeared in the final. MU have been in it twice, liverpool 5, Arsenal 0, ha ha.

ManU is missing because this list is just for the finals. It's in the title, but easy to miss.

I think England's record is pretty kick-ass, not to take away from anyone else's (like Holland's four wins and five appearances in a row). Real's 75% winning percentage is pretty good (not to be confused with Spain's 53%, which is probably where you erred).
