Megson and Peace need to follow the same line Tranmere did during Albion's long efforts to pry Koumas away... Jason is very valuable to us, both in our push to reach the Premiership and quite possibly in the top flight.

I'm not certain £2.5 million will be seen as sufficient by the Albion. In order to sacrifice a player who could help us in our promotion effort, I think we should expect a bit more.

I'd be very very surprised if we accepted double that for Jason Koumas. I can only see 'silly' money prising Our Jase away from The Shrine, and from what I gather Everton don't have that.
