Default Fifa 2002, this is what they need to change...

so I popped in Fifa 2002 for the first time in months and put it to the sideline view, and I was thinking how great the game looked and instantly remembered how improved the passing game was.

But then I played it and remembered why it was collecting dust. The ball physics.

Everytime you pass or shoot, the ball travels at about 300 miles per hour, it looks like a pinball and it moves nothing like in real football. Why doesn't EA sports just rip off Konami and use thier ball physics? That would make all the difference in the world.

My other problrem is EA's use of the "dummy". In Konami's games when a ball is played to you - you can choose to let the ball run between your legs to a playe behind you. In Fifa 2002 EA for some reason just has the computer choose when to do it and it messes things up all the time.

I just don't understand what EA is thinking when they release thier games. DOn't they actually play thier final version and realise that the ball doesn't move like in real fotball?

EA makes a great NFL sim, why don't they concentrate more on the sim side with thier FIFA games?

If you haven't tried it before give ISS-Evolution a whirl.

It is imho a great game and can't really be compared directly to FIFA because FIFA is an 'arcade' game, whereas ISS-Evolution is more of an RTS-Strategy game.

By this I mean it plays like real football and to score you have to craft a goal with intelligent passing and pulling opposition players out of position ....

I hate how it's impossible to defend a long pass to the wings. For some reason my fuggin player slows down.
