Charlton 'swoop for Alex'
This kid is pretty amazing...I've watched him play numerous times for S-Pulse in the J-League and he's an amazing player. His poise and skill with the ball at his feet is amazing. If he were to come here, easily he'd be one of the top 10 midfielders in the EPL. Alan would be a smart man for getting this kid. Last time I heard he was available for only a milion pounds...talk about a steal.

I hope they can get him. Although I've got a problem with players with just one name. Sometimes I think this bad omen.
We've already got Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldino, Juninho. He doesn't have "O" on the end of his name. He can't be that good. I'm still waiting for the ultimate Brazilian player "Oh No". My biggest fear that one would be his opposite "Doh" who'd play like Homer Simpson.
Let's just hope for a better result than the disaster that happened against Chelsea.

Actually, he just arrived today for trial. Curbs won't make a decision until Saturday.

Charlton's biggest need has been an attacking left-sided midfielder. Alex seems to fill that need.
With the transfer window about to close, and Alex in London, it is a good bet that he'll stay.
The questions are:
1.) Will it be the one-year loan with an option to buy?
2.) An outright purchase of about 1.5-million pounds?
If they kid is as advertised, they should tie him up to a deal right now.
BTW, more on Charlton's website, which is temporarily at the following location before a relaunch:
