1-0 all over this one. If we get a goal in very early, a la the Hull game, it could prove to be another 3-0 affair.
But they're going to work hard all game, put 10 men behind the ball and not give us ANY room to work with. I expect this to be very similar to the Stoke game.

Thank god this is on FSC.
And also I'm really glad that this isn't a painfully early game. Especially since I'm gonna get to bed really late on Friday.

I think Alex is ahead of Ivanovic in the centerback pecking order.
Or is Alex injured?

Yay a match on FSC!
-------------Cech---------------
Bos----Terry---Alex/Bane----A.Cole
Deco--------Mikelele---------Lamps
Joey---------Anelka----------Malouda(Sigh)
That will be the lineup most likely.

I like the look of your team Kaz, although I wouldnt mind seeing Kalou given a run out. Saw some of the highlights of Sunlun vs Stoke and the Mackems were shyte defending set pieces. We dont really have a target man, but perhaps Anelka can find his way onto the end of one of the crosses.
I expect to see Sunderland pack it in at the back and use Cisse on the counter or wait for a set piece where Kieran Richardson has been very effective. I really hope we dont try to play the old Jose 1-0 football as we could easily drop points by doing that. An early goal, followed by another one right before halftime should do enough to see us through this one. Problem is trying to do that against a well coached side. Much like Malouda, will we see the good or bad version of Sunderland on Saturday?

Well one thing that will make the job easier for Sunderland is they wont have to worry who is deployed at Rightback, because Malouda is no threat.
