Re: Fredy Montero to Steaua Bucharest? seems likely because he said it himself about the MLS 2 months ago, but the Seattle group can make lot more money if they send him to europe(but those rumors are now nonexistent) only euro team to actually talk about him not rumored to talk about him is Steaua who doesnt even want the foriegn players they have now. I prefer Montero in Seattle than Steaua but if the german or spanish teams still want him I prefer him to go there or Boca Juniors who was looking at him as well. MLS is a step down for him but hey its his and Dept Cali fault for it... they screwed the NT over with selling Rodallega to mexico and now will screw us over selling Montero to the MLS. I hope that he at least is a DP, and doesnt pull a Carlos Hilgado on all of us and the seattle fans. Either way I heard seattle is sold out allready this season which is kind of cool

Re: Fredy Montero to Steaua Bucharest or MLS? So any news on where Montero is going? It seems a fact that he will be leaving in january but not to where. I'm kinda worried for him in concerns of the NT. If he does go to MLS he is not going to be called until he leaves. And he is going to have to dominate the league in order to move to a better team, it may be a benefit they could probably get him to a better team then Cali. Cali really needs him, so if its that or MLS i prefer him to stay with us. But its important to get international experience to grow, and it seems at the moment Lara isnt only impressed by his performances in Cali. He needs to get out in th exterior and prove he is one of the best options for the NT, because i really think he could be great. The Paraguay game was just a bump in the road, too bad Darwin capitalized on his chance and not Montero. Suerte Montero.
