I got around to writing up the Urawa match. No idea what you guys will make of a probably very stereotyped view of Japanese culture, but hey, it's why I've been to the country twice. https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/blog.php?b=2069
You're a damn good writer Richard keep them articles coming! why don't u get a Blogspot-blog? with ur own layout and all? Would be cool if u could write these things on a regular basis.
I'm really not that interested in doing a blog. I've done a fair few of these from games around the world (search for threads started by me - there aren't many) when the list of bloggers was a bit more exclusive, but I've just remembered I wasn't keen on the new blog page format, as it gave you no idea if what you'd written had been read by 8 people or 800, and you can spend three hours writing something, only to find it's been knocked off the page three hours later by someone who churns on several pieces a day (and yes you can link it if you want, to answer your question on the blog itself) I should write up the Sagantosu game this week (I can't believe they got 21,000 for a match at the weekend) None of which will be of much interest to people clicking this thread to read about j-league, I suppose, so I'll waste no more space.
well, just add this to your blog, then u will see how many reads ur articles and how many visitors u got ( or where they come from) etc... http://www.sitemeter.com/?a=stats&s=s49nipponbasse but what i meant is that you start ur own "site", with ur own address. Not those BigSoccer blogs, that tend to disappear and are hard to find. It surely would be of great interest if u did, and even though u wouldn't update it that often it would still be great. A bit like Micke Tuckerman's site, he doesn't write that often but when he does it's always a joy to read: http://www.oleole.com/blogs/miketuckerman
Some of us are working together to create a portal where all contribution can be linked/published with no deadlines obligations but a huge exposure to the Internet public... Stay tuned! (and check the "Rsn" thread for some background, if you want)
Jubilo get toasted 5-1 in Tokyo. After Sanfrecce last year, another noble club descends for a ride in J2? Surely Komano is a "real" talisman, uh? Who will get him next season? (I want Cullen at Sanga!!!)
hehe, that's awesome. Bomberhead the Barbarian! (not an exact translation... but... meh... unless it's a seedier reference to Ainu? But anyway...)
Dude I'm not celebrating anything First without even playing, we inch closer to oblivion with their result Second what was looking like a very entertaining year boils down to two boring and cynical squads vying for the title by seeing who can let the air out of the ball more. Oita is a good script but a very bad movie

Jubilo going down would be MUCH bigger than Hiroshima last year. A club with that much history going to J2 (and one of only a few teams to have never played a minute in J2) looks entirely possible and at the same time shocking. Would be even more suprised if Marinos went down, which also is quite possible. As for Komano, two relegated teams in two years! Would be quite cool if he was back at Hiroshima next year, although i don't know whether the fans would welcome him back with open arms, as he didn't stay loyal like Sato. Come to think of it, he might have been better off just staying with Hiroshima, or maybe losing in J1 is better than winning in J2 as they say...
If it is not Reds, Antlers or Marinos, anybody is OK with me Oita was absolutely not impressive in the two games vs Kyoto. A lot of hassling and pushing; however it would be cool to have a new team to win. It seems to me -anyway- that Nagoya and Kawasaki play much better soccer.
On the face of it, needing a last minute winner against a team who are dead and buried at the bottom of the table looks far from championship form. But then the games are running out, Oita are top, and if they keep grinding those results out just a few more weeks they could just go and win the thing! Good on em!
