About

Red Bull New York

Although the team has been in the league since its inaugural season (1996), it has gone through several name changes. The team was originally known as the New York/New Jersey MetroStars through 1997. From the 1998 season until right before the 2006 season, the team was known as simply the MetroStars. On March 9, 2006, it was sold to Red Bull GmbH, and the name of the organization was changed to Red Bull New York while the playing team was to be called the New York Red Bulls. The sale of the team has been controversial among some fans of the MetroStars, similar to the situation in Austria, where Red Bull bought SV Austria Salzburg and renamed it FC Red Bull Salzburg.

A half dozen for us is most definitely not out of the question. Maybe more if we move the ball in final third like we did yesterday. Hopefully the back 4 can start fine tuning some things as well. The ball movement out of the back was a bit sloppy. Nothing to worry about at this point though.

I think Jeffren just suffered a knock. He'll probably be ready to go. What he does need is a well-groomed pencil thin moustache to go with that hairdo. He'd do Morris Day proud.

OK, I'll give you that for we're in America currently. But it's a common thing among the regulars that we always "talk" in Barcelona time.

Great thread, also great site for me and my nation we beat mexiico here last year, can the underdog story happen again? nearly impossible.
Anywho should be fun to watch them again on tv which kit will they wear i presume the home kit.
Also the more important match on wednesday beitar vs Wisla now that one is a must watch.

Right, because I just joined the board and I rarely post here...

I know, we always use the date of the game in Barcelona. Usually it's a "non-issue" because if Barça plays in Europe, the date of the thread is the same as the date of the game for almost everyone here(of the top of my head-and please correct me if I'm wrong-it's only a different date for VEB and some posters from Asia). That's why yesterday was a little confusing for those of us who live in this side of the pond. That's all.

Hi, not a Barcelona fan nor Spanish, but I don't think people on the ramblas consider it a Thursday game... After all, they are just starting their wednesday evening dinner when the game starts.
