Belgium will play a friendly against Holland tomorrow before travelling to China.

Also Kompany was absent from training. Looks like Hamburg is playing hard ball

I vote Belgium as "outsider" for a medal. They have a very talented squad with players as Dembélé, Kompany, Mirallas, Fellaini, vd. Borre...

Too bad we miss Defour, Witsel, Lombaerts, De Sutter, Steppe and also we don't bring an experienced player which is always usefull.

Its sucks we can't even send our strongest team

"We" (Netherlands) neither, shame the EC players aren't selected for the Dutch Olympic team. Sneijder, Robben, Afellay..

Lombaerts impressed me at the Euro U21, but I think your defence wouldn't be much weaker with players as De Roover, Kompany, Vermaelen, Pocognoli, Vertonghen...

It's a shame that only the Dutch know just how many talented youngsters Belgium has. I really can't understand why their national team proper isn't doing any better, they have more quality than say Germany in my view (seriously!).

That might be slighty overrated, but I get your point. They play with the wrong players and have the worst manager you can find in this world.

If the under23 team would play against the senior squad the under23 would win, but in Belgium it is all politics, they never give the youth a chance.
