my memory is vague but didn't he score for n. ireland against germany at winsor park in a game which I think ended 1-1. Also it was a competitive match if I remember too.

... you're very right..i think it came off of a corner around the 65th min. I think it was that Enke kid in net who used to play sparingly for Benifica.

for someone with somewhat of a memory problem that wasn't too bad for me

I'd like to see an all Ireland team to put an end to the old firm fans buying all the international tops. More importantly is an all Ireland. Anyway I'm quite glad I remembered that and also I think Portugal were in that group too as they were making a substitution against the germans and whoever was comming off got sent off for time wasting before he could reach the line to change and the germans were 1-0 down at that point and brought it back to 1-1.
