Kind would hope we'd play a different big name team. Like Spain or England.

Nice....Portugal rarely ever plays friendles outside of Europe. I want to see them schedule something against the US, but I doubt it would ever happen.

That was at EURO 2004, the game previous to that, was before the qualifying groups were made when they beat us 3-0 or 3-1, I just remember they scored three.

3-0 Boa Morte came in at half and was the only one trying to get back into the game.

This was the last we saw of Conceicao, Frechaut and Beto since I don't think he played a game at Euro 04.

Just stating what I remember about the game. How about commentating on how it was Conceicao's last game instead of trolling? We got beat bad and only one player cared so it's not worth mentioning who since it wasn't Figo or Rui Costa right?

Ego juice? Some nerve. You roll your eyes at me for mentioning LBM (The Horror)and a reply stating you could talk about other things gets that as a response? Grow up. Also, when you start a sentence with "No Offense" How about using constructive criticism instead of expletives and direct disrespect?

Gooddead, if we want to compare which players care more about the NT then others then you cant mention Conceicao & Boa Morte in the same breath. As far as the loss to Spain in 2003, it was not that the players didnt care. There were 3 players that had gone out partying or something the night before. Those players were Conceicao, Meira & Maniche. Conceicao never got called back again , Meira didnt get called back again until after the 2004 Euro, and Maniche got called back when the Euro 2004 squads were named. These players didnt get called back because Scolari looked like an ass for losing to Spain 3-0, not because Boa Morte cared more about the NT then the other 3. If you want to say they didnt care because they went out partying fine, but dont erase all the previous performances, especially by Conceicao. And even after Conciecao was left off after starting every previous game for Scolari, Boa Morte still didnt land a starting job.

    Re: Brasil x Portugal - Nov 11th 2008

WOW WTF, Who the hell stated that they didn't care to play for Portugal?

After going down 2 goals the only one not demoralized and continued to push was Boa Morte after subbing on for Sergio. Before the half the team was up for it. After going down 2 the rest of the players went through the motions like most teams do at 2-0 down. Was it enough for LBM? No he couldn't do anything despite being determined and Cristiano got the nod over him.

So What? really? It's the one highlight I remember of the game and apparently I'm not allowed to make it?

And I think I can mention Boa morte and Conceicao in the same breath when it comes to how much they cared, although Sergio got more goals LBM gave just as much on the field and unlike Sergio he never went out partying the night before a game.

You said that LBM was the only one that cared.

Simao was the one that got the nod....Ronaldo got it after the game 1 loss against Greece. But no disrespect to LBM, he was a class act.

No, you are allowed. And as LBM is one of your favs, Conceicao is mine so I had to put my two cents in :D

Fair enough I didn't mean to imply they didn't care more that most excepted the loss early.

As for the Nod I meant the call up to the NT Simao was for sure at that point and LBM was trying to get in but Ronaldo took the final winger spot.
