Default Quarter Finals advancement possibilities

Advancement possibilities:

Group A
  1. Portugal (2:0:0 6 pts 5-1) - Secured 1st place
  2. Czech Rep (1:0:1 3 pts 2-3) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win over Turkey
    2. Draw with Turkey followed by a PK win over Turkey
  3. Turkey (1:0:1 3 pts 2-3) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win over Czech Rep
    2. Draw with Czech Rep followed by a PK win over Czech Rep
  4. Switzerland (0:0:2 0 pts 1:3) - out

Group B
  1. Croatia (2:0:0 6 pts 3:1) - Secured 1st place
  2. Germany (1:0:1 3 pts 3:2) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win or a draw (vs. Austria)
  3. Austria (0:1:1 1 pt 1:2) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win over Germany and one of the following:
      1. Poland draw or a loss (vs. Croatia)
      2. Poland win by the same goal margin or less
      3. Poland win by one additional goal, provided Poland scores less goals
  4. Poland (0:1:1 1 pt 1:3) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win over Croatia combined with an Austria win over Germany and one of the following:
      1. +2 or more goal differential compared with Austria's win
      2. +1 goal differential compared with Austria's win and scored the same or more goals

Group C
  1. Netherlands (2:0:0 6 pts 7:1) - Secured 1st place
  2. Romania (0:2:0 2 pts 1:1) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win over Netherlands
    2. Draw with Netherlands combined with a France-Italy draw
    3. Loss to Netherlands combined with a 0:0 France-Italy draw and one of the following:
      1. The loss is by less than 3 goals
      2. The loss is by 3 goals and Romania scores at least 1 goal
  3. Italy (0:1:1 1 pt 1:4) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win over France combined with Romania loss or draw (vs. Netherlands)
    2. Draw with France combined with Romania loss to Netherlands and one of the following:
      1. The draw is not goalless
      2. Romania's loss is by 4 or more goals
      3. Romania lose 3:0
  4. France (0:1:1 1 pt 1:4) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win over France combined with Romania loss or draw (vs. Netherlands)

Group D
  1. Spain (2:0:0 6 pts 6-2) - Secured 1st place
  2. Sweden (1:0:1 3 pts 3-2) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win or draw (vs. Russia)
  3. Russia (1:0:1 3 pts 2-4) - Can finish 2nd with
    1. Win over Sweden
  4. Greece (0:0:2 0 pts 0:3) - out
I sure hope I got all the combinations right.

Some notes:
Only two teams have been eliminated and both of them are in the same 2010 WCQ group.
In all 4 groups a team has clinshed 1st place after only two games

Interesting, especially that four teams already secured the first place in their groups after just two rounds. I think this is a novelty in EC-history.

And yes, look at this WCQ group 2:

Greece
Switzerland
Israel
Latvia
Moldova
Luxembourg

IMO, this will be the first time Israel qualifies for WC from UEFA.
