Can anyone lead me to a thread if it has been started but why has Edwin Miranda been called to the national team for el salvador, he played in MLS and is in USL division one with a fairly good team . if theyre calling up Alas in Division two i wouldnt see why they wouldnt give him a chance

Well Alas has been a part of the National team since he was about 16. He has had a lot of experience. He is very good but he made a stupid move by going to the USL2. He isn't a starter anyway. Miranda plays defense btw and right now are defense is all booked up. He really couldn't start over any of our 4.... Captain Alfredo Pacheco, Marvin Gonzalez, Anaya, Hernandez....i really doubt it. I wouldn't mind a call up. But idk DLC even knows the guy exists to be honest. lol

He plays midfield. I thought he was a defender, that makes it even harder to start. He would have to really be a good player to start over, Cheyo, Shawn, Jimenez, Sanchez, Castillo.

I wouldn't mind giving the guy a shot.....right now i would say no...but in the future.

i doubt he will have a shot, all we really need is a true number 9. if we can get somebody to put the ball in we're in business. i have some kind of hope that reyes would make a difference.

maybe in the future he will have a chance.

nah dude he doesnt have any black in him, he is a moreno mestizo.

there is 3 kinds of prietos as we know in el salvador: moreno claro (me), prieto prieto = mayen meza, and el "negro" then we are talking any colocho which is mostly a moreno with black roots or mulato.

For the prietos they are known as "pardos."

    Mulatos = Black/White (Tim Duncan)

Morenos (mestizo) = Spanish/Native (that would be me) although we do have arab africans and turkish mixes in San Miguel, Italians and french also in a lower scale.

Sambo = Black/Native (Im not sure who would be a good example)
    Pardo = Black/Native/ White = Ronaldo, Ronaldinho.

San Miguel is a big city, along with Santa Ana and San Salvador.

Santa Ana was mostly Spanish, with the big hacendados en cafetaleros.

San Salvador is the capital with about 10% of the upper class with a turkish/italian/arab background.

One of San Miguel bigger founders was Dr. Miguel Felix Charlaix, the founder of Club Deportivo Aguila, a Franco-Spanish Salvadoreno, yes a lot of the middle class Miguelena has straight connection with French and Italian, Im talking of the cities not the pueblitos.

The first vecindades of San Miguel, La Belen, Santa Emilia, Ciudad Jardin, Barrio San Francisco, La Cury, La Merced where all Spanish-French oriented.

Dude Idk anything about Guatemala and I dont care, dont come here talking about stuff you dont know. You dont know here San Miguel is, you dont know who founded San Miguel, you dont know our history...

I had vecinos that were called "Los Turkos" why do you think they were called "turkos?"

I went to a Jewish privated school when I got ouf the ghetto, Colegio Amigos de Israel... who was owned by a Jews.

If you dont know El Salvador, you dont know San Miguel, shut the f.. up. Go there, and then you come back telling me who we are. I lived 16 years of my life in my country, in my city... now you know more about my city than me?

They dont have a big inpact in our gene pool , as do the dark spaniards from the old moorish empire. I wouldnt be surprised if some those north african people changes their names to spanish sur-names.

The south of spain and italy are very close to arab-africa. The moors were white africans with arabs and blacks influences.

Most people in the places like Cadiz, Malaga and all the south of Spain are darker and with arab afro characteristics like a lot of people in El Salvador, the same with Italy and their southern states, then North Spains and North Italy are more nothern Europeans, french connected.

I read an article that there is a about 10,000 pure arabs in El Salvador that have not mixed with any other race, they are mostly from the Palestine and a few of them from Israel and Turquia. The rest of Palestinians and Jews that came to El Salvador in botes im not sure in what time got mixed with both, dark Salvadoreans and the criollos.

Elias Antonio Saca along with el Finado Shafick Handal are cousins, their fathers or grandfathers were from Paletina.

Alfredo Cristiani Miardi is half Italian half Turkish, pretty much all the upper class in El Salvador are bunch of Germans, Jews, English and Arabas... Sol Murray, Mathis Hill, Prieto, Samour, Meza the ones of the 14 families.

Most upper middle class in San Salvador are mixed Spanish-Italians.

San Miguels upper class is mostly Spanish mixed with french and Italians, my ex girl friend how used model for El Casino Migueleno and for Aguilas Club Social is one the Cabellero-Giralt, they came from Mexico but they have middle estern background too.

There was huge Jews and Arab migration in El Salvador is you actually read our history, a lot of botes came full with middle esteasteners to the point that a lot of criollos Salvadorenos went to the coast with big banners saying "No queremos mas arabes en El Salvador, extranjeros de m... regresen a sus tierras."

Club de Leones is the most exclusive rich country club in El Salvador, they had a rule there that "only personas de descencia europea puender ser parte de club y tener acceso a el."

Guess who was the first "non european blood" that went in to the club de leones? yes our president Tonito Saca :D

San Miguels barrios are full with "cheles" extranjeros from Santa Rosa and Chalate that moved to the city, along with Nicaraguenses, and Chapines vende uvas, and in every barrio you always find "turkitos" :D

Yep, that is San Miguel, the best city in the country.

It will be interesting to find out where was the masive european migration into Santa Rosa.

Most of you think that mostly northern Spanish conquistadores went to those pueblitos, but the truth is that there was also a big german migration coming to El Salvador in the early days of the republic.

I know for a fact that most germans went to chalatenango but i still have to find out where all those cheles ojos azules fron Santa Rosa De Lima are... yes, a lot of people in Spain are ojos verdes but not many ojos azules and a lot of people in Santa Rosa is ojos azules.

The cheles from San Miguel are mostly ojos verdes, more french italian connected, my great grandpa was a big chelon ojos verdes too.

Im talking right now to a Miguelena whos last name is Dulanto... she is not ojos verdes but she's smoking hot, Miguelenas are hot and they they have classt too ;)

Edwin Mirand is a moreno Salvatrucha with not doubt, with spanish and indito blood like most of us.

Yep, most of us are "vagos pata de chuchos, original salvatruchos."

Monica Lewinsky is Salvadoran, anyone know that? Her father was a Jew born and raised in El Salvador I think.

Dont know why this swayed away from Miranda, but its an interesting fact.

HAHA, where did you hear that?

    Lewinsky is straight Russian-American.

Funny how you says you "think" her dad was raised in El Salvador and then in the next line you claim it as "fact". Now i'm not looking to have a go, but that's a little contradicting, and as a "scientifico" i expected more from you. :D

Oh and your right, this thread has taken a bit of a detour, thanks to Feno's history "lessons" :p.

Most of the stuff that isn't Miranda related should really be in the NSR section. Maybe if someone want's to keep talking about El Salvador/Central American history they can open up another thread there cause this thread has been off topic since post #14.
