Default MVP (Most Valuable Player) Euro 2008 ?

Within this thread you post your most valuable player of the Euro 2008 tournament. Allthough we just started i am interested in which player - untill now - impressed you most. [I]For me in person this was Spanish striker David Villa and our Dutch He-Man Dirk Kuyt.

Ivica Olic, scored only 1 goal but he is always trying his best and well.. you saw what he was doing to Austrian and German defence.

hard to say at the minute when some players who have impressed, such as Villa, have only played one match in the tournament so far.

Pepe has impressed me and not just for his goal scoring contribution in the first match. speed, strength and a cool head. looks the pick of the centre backs on show at this minute in time.

It's the easy pic, but Cristiano Ronaldo has had a hand in all of the Portugal goal. You can't ignore a guy who scores a hat trick, and Kuyt has been great. Have to see who flourishes in the knockout phase.

I would say thats about right, so far. Sneijder has been amazing, along with Ronaldo and Villa.

I think you have to see Villa play well in at least two games before picking him.

Why?

Apart from that, Villa is a really fantastic striker. He'll probably go to one of the big clubs this summer. He's scored 3 goals many times with Valencia. For many Spaniards he is our best player but Torres and Fabregas are more famous because of the world audience of the Premier league.
