Default Smile today, Dutch faithful :D

We did it. And with beautiful football.

A few months ago I picked up a copy of 442 magazine to read "Why Holland wont win at Euro 2008 and why they wont be worth watching."

Everone seemed to write us off.

I respect Italy alot, and today we crushed them 3-0.

To all those who are the Oranje Faithful, smile, cos no matter what happens; today is our day.

Robben would have added a bit more danger on the offensive but I doubt Holland would have scored 3 if Robben played. He is just really not going to pass the ball and he isn't a grand finisher either. He might be usefull in some games but I'd start with Kuyt until he is totally spent.

great game to watch. i love the playing style. even when they were up by 2, during the second half they still pushed for more. it would have been easy to turn it into a stale defensive game. the counterattacking and aggressive play was outstanding.

the thing is everyone knows holland has a great team but it's almost like spain: underachievers
I am not saying they can't win this year but you gotta be honest with holland: it's almost like the retard cousin who is even more or less retarded than portugal
just kidding: love you oranje!
notice how I torched 3 major teams in one sentence

u cannot compare us to spain in no way
if u look at it,in the last 20 years, holland has been the most succesfull on EC's,even tho we only won it once

I'm just disappointed the odds of seeing a Portugal-Netherlands match-up are so low because of the tournament set-up.

They may just make the finals this year, they don't have to face their tormentors till then.

Excellent game against Italy, I thoroughly enjoyed Italy see their asses handed to them.

However, if you do meet up with Portugal, you know you are gonna lose, so props until then
