---

Today there is an interview with Allofs at werder.de,
some outlines:

- start o training: July, 3Rd

- the team won´t travel immediatly to a fitness camp, but the first
10 days of training will be at the training grounds near the Weserstadion

- at July, 30th a test match will be made against Hansa Rostock

- talents Schindler and Artmann could be loaned to other clubs

- Werder was interested in Moreno, but because the interest got public
the price raised very high and Werder went out of the poker

- a new striker will be signed until the end of the transfer period

Training starts on Thursday but the Bundesliga announced the game plan for next season today. We'll start @Bielefeld followed by a home match v. Schalke. We play @Bayern on the fifth matchday and our last match of the Hinrunde will be @home against Wolfsburg. (Which means that the last league match of the season will be @Wolfsburg.)

Pretty good game plan imo since we have the other title competetors spread out well. I don't like it that we won't have a homematch on the last gameday and that we'll have to start the campaign on the road though.

Derbystar has provided Werder with a new ball for this season that will be used in the home matches. So far the players and coaches like it.

Schaaf still has his rubber-band fetish . What's new though is that the players are wearing transmitters on their bodys during training sessions.

and we also have a new fitness coach. I think the management is really hoping to avoid so many injuries again.

The first test match of the preseason has just kicked off. Opponent is the current champion of the Bezirksoberliga-Lüneburg: TSV Ottersberg

Werder starts with this lineup:

Wiese
Boenisch, Naldo, Prödl, Tosic
Bargfrede, Baumann, Jensen, Hunt
Heider, Testroet

And it's 2:0 already after 5 minutes. Goals by 17 year old Pascal Testroet and Aaron Hunt.

At the halftime schaaf took out all the players but Prödl and Heider. Second half lineup looked like this:

Erdem, Andersen, Prödl, Kruse
Vranjes, Niemeyer, Husejinovic, Özil
Heider, Harnik

The second test match is tomorrow already before they'll have their first training camp on the island Norderney.
