I updated the blog again: Some real news in there about what Steve Nicol did this weekend. Also a little bit of a game preview. If you read it please leave a comment, even if you hated it!

Interesting...

Just putting this out there, but one of the matches that took place this past weekend was between Deportes Savio and Real España, the latter featuring a player by the name of Allan Moisés Lalín Pérez (Allan Lalín).

Lalín, a striker who's also been a member of the Honduran national team since 2006, has recently been linked in the Honduran press to potential moves to either Major League Soccer or the top domestic league in Poland.

According to recent press reports, he went on trial a week or so ago to Wisła Kraków in Poland where he played in a reserve match, but eventually rejoined España after the trial didn't work out, one reason reported to be the transfer fee España was asking for. Another report suggests that there is continued interest in him from the U.S., and while I may be reading things wrong, it sounds like he has an American wife.

Wow, great job, Evan.

But, if this news is true, I'd really hope Nicol was looking at a defender.

It's a whole lotta conjecture on my part, but he would seem to be someone who could help us.
