Bolton V Charlton [R]
0-0 but we hammered them and it was only Alan Wiley's crap officiating that stopped us from winning the game. Davies had two penalty appeals turned down within the space of a couple of minutes one should have been given at least.
Defensively we were superb with Laville and Thome in the middle and Hunt and Gardner outside. Okocha hit the bar but didn't do much else of note. Nolan worked hard but never did too much and prefered to control the last chance of the game rather than shoot thus getting fouled in the the process. Pedersen was crap, Giannakopoulos was superb when he replaced him at half time. Davies is looking better and better, he's an intelligent player. Djorkaeff played well too and was unlucky not to score. Campo gave us a few moments but he was otherwise solid. Jussi was great!
We need to continue this form into the next game and get Jardel fit!
