Who will be this year's Greece?
I don't mean necesarily win, but who will be the cinderella team that surprises everybody and makes it further than anybody expects?

Re: Who will be this year's Greece?
I picked Romania. Nobody gives them a chance because they are in a tough group, and it's true that it will be tough for them to get out of it.
But, they played good football in the qualifiers, they proved they can beat Holland, and I can see them surprising France. If they make it past their group, they could grow in confidence.
Plus, they have two genuine stars in Mutu and Chivu, and they are sort of the anti-Greece. Better attacking than defending. So, I hope they do well.

I think Poland too, simply because they can go far if they manage to play as good as they did in qualifiers.

Re: Who will be this year's Greece?
I'm the biggest pessimist this side of the Oder river when it comes to our NT but I think Leo is just the man we needed, and he has done wonders. We have arguably the best keepers in the world, Guerreiro could be quite a discovery in the tournament, and as the qualifiers proved we can put away goals as well. If we can shake off the rather inevitable, opening loss to Germany, and not allow it to demoralize, then yeah, I think we can show something.

Not gonna vote though, because that would jinx any possibility of a chance.

Poland lost to the US which, along with Switzerland automatically counts them out in my book. And they were poor in a weak group in Germany 2006 (Germany, Ecuador, Poland, Costa Rica) only managing to beat CR 2-1
Poland<US<England= Poland<a team that didn't qualify for Euros
