We shall see whether the improvement shown against the prawn-eaters continues against Portsmouth. Three points are needed.

Match Preview information from the BBC:
Wolves (From): Oakes, Irwin, Naylor, Butler, Craddock, Ince, Luzhny, Newton, Gudjonsson, Cooper, Silas, Rae, Iversen, Blake, Camara, Cameron, Okoronkwo, Ingimarsson, Proudlock, Clingan, Murray.
-Dave Jones, however, suggests that Murray and Sturridge may be out again. Newton and Luzhny are also questionable. Still no 3rd keeper available, however, Wolves are in talks with Pavel Srnicek on a possible loan.
Portsmouth (From): Hislop, Schemmel, De Zeeuw, Stefanovic, Zivkovic, Stone, Quashie, Faye, Berger, Sheringham, Yakubu, Smertin, Foxe, O'Neil, Primus, Harper, Wapenaar.
Referee: Andy D'Urso (1 match- 1 Red Card issued, 6 Yellow Cards issued- D'Urso worked the Bolton-Blackburn match on 23 August. )
Last meeting: 1-0 Portsmouth, 15 March 2003
Prediction: Portsmouth came out of the gate hot, and could top the league with the right result. Wolves have struggled thus far, but the match at Old Trafford was probably the best thus far. Wolves keep it going, but so do Pompey. 1-1 draw.

Wolves earn their first point in the Premeirship today at Molineux
Wolves-0
Portsmouth-0
Either this was a very physical match, or Andy D'Urso is card happy as 8 yellow cards were issued in this one (all for "unsporting behavior"). Butler, Rae and Ince get carded for Wolves and Quashie, Stone, Schemmel, Zivkovic, and Ayegbini get tagged for Pompey. No one sent off, however.
Gudjonsson makes his debut for Wolves, coming on for Rae in the 79th minute, and didn't get a shot off. Wolves again struggle with the shots, 2 on target out of 11 attempts, Pompey had 2 shots on goal out of 9 attempts.
Wolves will remain bottom of the Premeirship with 1 point going into the 2 week break for international matches. Wolves are next in action against Southampton in Southampton on September 13.

CrewToon that was a stupid statement. Very stupid. Real Betis doesn't have a need for him. Villa fans rate him highly and have said we got a good un.
Is Lee Bowyer sh1t? Cause he's a Leeds reject.
Good result but still not getting goals and by all accounts we should have won. Hope I won't be saying this for long.

perhaps I am wrong about the new player, but I take what Viller fans say with a grain of salt.
