Boca Juniors vs Atlas in Guadalajara (r)
Must win game.
Boca travelled to Mexico without Morel Rodriguez and Paletta.

Re: Boca Juniors vs Atlas in Guadalajara (r)
With Roman having been rested, I hope that fatigue won't be an issue for this game. I have a feeling that he's going to have to will this team to a victory.
By the way, Who is this kid Noir? I only saw the highlights from the game against Racing but from the little bit I saw, he looks like a player. Very cool in front of goal and puts the ball on target from tough angles. I was impressed. What do you guys know about him?

The problem with Roman is that he is being rested, but since he has carried 2 different injuries, he can't really train during the week ... hence he can't gain physical form.
About Noir, he is very young. He had 2 chances, netting the last one. He is a player that moves as the 2nd forward, kinda like Palacio's role. But a player that will very probably return from loan and stay is Franzoia. He has proven that he is a 2nd forward, not an enganche as he was used the few times he played with Boca's 1st team.
For tomorrow, the team looks to be:
Caranta
Maidana - Caceres - Paletta - Morel
Chavez - Battaglia - Datolo
Roman
Palacio - Palermo
Now, away, we use 2 offensive wide mids, while at home we used Vargas?

I think in Buenos Aires, while they went after the game, they played it a bit cautiously because they didn't want to give the away goal. But the strategy backfired when they gave up two on dead balls. Usually the team will be more conservative on the road, but obviously now is not the time to play conservatively, it's all about scoring, since Boca needs a win, or at least a 3-3 draw, in order to advance.
This formation asks a lot of Battaglia, though. Especially considering the hot weather. I hope Ischia knows what he's doing.

Grande Palermo!!!
1-0!
So far so good, but they better take advantage of their chances, because we know what happened in Buenos Aires.
