Arrow Pompey vs Bolton, Aug 26 [R]

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/foot...em/3156181.stm

A great day today as Pompey wins 4-0 vs Bolton to go TOP OF THE TABLE! Portsmouth are the best team in English football.

Stone with the first goal, Teddy with the hat trick, all in the second half.

Plus, Bolton is a must win game for us if we are to stay up this year. A great day indeed.

Play up Pompey!

Just got back from Fratton park!! What can I say? Truely one of the best performances I've seen in ages. Every one of the team played their socks off...

Thumbs up

You were at Fratton! Details man, details.

Are you a season ticket holder? What's the word on the street?

Default Incredible start!

Almost makes me want to go get a Pompey shirt with the little Beanie Babies ad on it - NOT!

Really, Sherringham has been incredible. This is very exciting! I wish The Wolves started off the same but congrats to the Portsmouth FC thus far!

Still on a high from yesterday!! What a match, every one of the team deserved MOTM! I am a season ticket holder (lower north stand) and here's how I saw the match!

The 1st half, I thought we gave possesion away too cheaply it looked like it was going to be a tough game 0 - 0 at half time was a fair result ;

2nd half, Harry's half time 'talk' must have been something else! Shaka made a wonder save over the bar, Patrick was running all over the place and set up the 1st goal that Steve Stone put in.

The 2nd goal Zivkovic put forward a beauty of a left footer and Teddy whacked it in with his head, the 3rd came just after Fayes shot from the half way line which had to be seen to belived, If only it had gone in!!

Stone created the 3rd which Teddy put in!

The Penalty, I'm not entirely sure it was, but since Bolton were not entirely the kings of fair play it was justified.

Quashie had his best game in a Pompey shirt, Stefanovic was awesome,

Campo came under constant booing for his play acting after a knock, and Davies and Charlton came under a LOT of stick for playing for that lesser known club down the road!!

George Best was there as was Alexi Smertin (who has signed on loan for us today!)

Its early days though and we wont always win our matches...but I feel confident that we are going to do well, and shut up a lot of our critics, and there are a few of them out there!

But top of the league and ahead of the s(ummers in the league is a pretty good feeling!!

really happy to see Teddy on a roll. Of course it makes me sick that he's scored four goals and the entire Spurs side has scored only two.
