Caio Júnior, ex-Palmeiras and current Goiás coach, is being speculated as the next Flamengo coach. Joel Santana will coach Fla on Wednesday vs. América-MEX in the Libertadores before leaving for South Africa.

Fla-America; well, that was a disaster. How in the hell did that happen?

Big game on Saturday. Fla x SPFC at Maracana and a chance to open a wide margin.

According to Globo: "A diretoria do Flamengo confirmou a negociação do meia Renato Augusto com o Bayer Leverkusen, da Alemanha.
Good Luck to him! The club could be a good step towards a major european team - Lucio, Juan, Jorginho and Tita played for Leverkusen.

Thanks for the news- looks like I'm rooting for Leverkusen next year! It was just a matter of time...I thought he would be going to Palermo.

I just hope that this situation doesnt end up like the Ibson one where he isnt able to get playing time and then he tries to come back to Flamengo. With Ibson we tried to buy him back for more than we sold him for in 2005 to Porto. That would suck if the same thing happened again with R. Augusto.
