UPDATE: Del Piero tallied three goals in Juventus' 4-0 rout of Atalanta on Sunday.

ANALYSIS: Del Piero is likely to be left off of Italy's Euro 2008 squad, but he proved himself capable with an excellent effort against Atalanta. Along with his three goals, Del Piero sent in a beautiful cross for a first minute goal by teammate Nicola Legrottaglie.
