UPDATE: Fiorentina have made a significant offer to Palermo for Italian defender Andrea Barzagli. Both sides are very close to a deal, as reported by Tribal Football.

ANALYSIS: With Champion's League on the horizon for Fiorentina next season, this would be a tremendous move. Barzagli, at only 26-years-old, has been a member of the Italian National team since 2004, and continues to improve each and every season.
