UPDATE: French international Patrice Evra is now in the final year of his contract at Manchester United and is looking to sign a new long-term deal, according to Setanta Sports.
ANALYSIS: After Manchester United locked up three of their core players in the last week, it only makes sense that they would begin negotiating a long-term contract with Evra.
