UPDATE: Cervi is on trial with Celtic after turning down a contract with the Chicago Fire of the MLS after being taken No. 12 in the 2008 draft, the Soccer By Ives reports.
ANALYSIS: Celtic is in the market for talent in goal with starter Artur Boruc set to leave. Cervi played for the U.S. Under-23 national team in Olympic Qualifying last month.
