Default Charlton--Everton [R] 26 Aug

A short break between games. Should be a good game at the Valley. Everton is 1-1 with a loss to Aresenal on the opening day, and a defeat of Fulham 3-1 on saturday. Campbell and Ferguson are not expected to start, while Rooney is.

"In midfield, Jensen is again expected to solve the problem of three central midfield players in the same middle four by playing on the left, as he did for much of last season, with Scott Parker partnering Matt Holland in the middle leaving Radostin Kishishev to continue down the right. "

Who should start up top? I say keep Bartlett and Euell together. They played great together on saturday.

FT 2-2

Euell gets two goals on PK's, but Rooney scores the equilizer in the 72' minute. Cole made his debut for Charlton. I will post a link later. Parker and Fish both played despite the red cards hanging over both of them.

Here is the match report:

I think later in the season, this is going to be one of those matches you look back on and kick yourself because two points were lost.
