UPDATE: Italian defender Fabio Grosso was shown a red card after a brawl ensued in Saturday night's game between Lyon and Caen.

ANALYSIS: As the half-time whistle blew, Grosso and Yoann Gouffran of Caen were seen exchanging words. Their argument became very heated and Grosso slapped Gouffran right in front of the referee, who immediately issued him with a red card. Grosso has been a victim of racial harrassment in the last couple of months, and it will be interesting to see if harrassment had any part in Grosso's act.
