Very Small Rocks - Season Thread
The "pre-season" tag on the last thread was distracting...
Chickenhawks look to be coming back to earth this week, with only 20 pts through Saturdays games. This should be a big week as we all race for Crespo. Though I'm not sure I can afford him...

Early season favorite for MVP: Paul Scholes. Has 32 of Kopite Jrs. overall 71 pts so far this season. Chole won't be deliberating much over picking her Captain each week...

I had debated taking Tuesday and Wednesday off work so i could give the computer my undivided attention to snag him.
However, since it looks like Viduka will stay i am more than happy with my strike force.....still the days off would be nice...
My sister says that Crespo is in town and the rumour is that a medical has been scheduled for Monday and if all goes well he will be unveiled to the press Tuesday as a Chelsea player.
I'll bet he is priced at no less than 11.0, maybe even as much as Henry.

He most certainly IS in town, as the camera kept flashing to him in the stands during today's game with Leicester.
11.0 sounds a bit rich for a newcomer, but he might get that kind of respect. I was thinking 10.0.

Yes, i watched the game on tape and saw them screen him.
Everybody in Hammersmith thinks its a forgone conclusion that he will be a Chelsea player by mid-week.
An unveiling to the press right before the return match to Zilina.

Gotta love it when you pick Giggs as your Captain going against a crap team that bleeds goals like Wolves, only to have Sir Alex deem Giggs worthy of resting in that game...
The Chickenhawks had a nice run of two weeks at the top...now the rapid descent begins.

It's funny I hadn't considered he would drop players like that and then about two hours before kick off I thought about it.
I wish you could change captain even after the deadline or make it your highest point scorer. Having Sheringham as captain would have been nice.
