Re: Henry or Ronaldo- R9
well in his prime there have been few like Ronaldo, both physically gifted and skilled beyond imagination
Ronaldo had better speed, maybe his creativity was not on the same level as Henry but his finishing was on the same level, also they were both about equals through the air
i think its an unfair comparison though cuz Henry always the wing as a playmaker/creator while Ronaldo played the box as that prototype #9
really only thing that separates them is that Henry will be known as a legend and still has a lot to give while Ronaldo will be known as the one who couldn't stay in shape and never really plateaued his career

I don't want to come across as rude so could you elaborate. In depth.
I feel you may have got your wires crossed.

Re: Henry or Ronaldo- R9
well Henry produced at Arsenal for 10 years consistently while Ronaldo has been up and down in his career although he was better in his prime
Ronaldo could not manage to play at the high level very long, as soon as he hit his prime he got hurt and could not get back to that level anymore, thats the way i see it

I'd say for Speed they were on the same level, but Ronaldo was a better dribbler. In terms of creativity, at his peak, Ronaldo was very creative as demonstrated by his 4 assists in WC 98. After the injuries, he became less creative. As for finishing, Ronaldo was a far superior finisher compared to Henry. Henry missed alot of his chances and wasn't anywhere near as clinical as Ronaldo.
Henry will be known as an Arsenal legend, while the other supporters will often remember him as a big game choker. Ronaldo is the one who will be known as a legend, particularly at international level.

10 years? he was only at Arsenal for 8 years and his first 2 and last season were not that impressive.
Ronaldo proved himself in La Liga and Serie A which were 2 of the top leagues during his time.
Its true Ronaldo could not get back to his previous level after the injuries but he was still pretty dam good when he returned and was still scoring goals.

Re: Henry or Ronaldo- R9
Yeah, I have a great, great level of respect for Henry. However, in their prime it is not a contest, Ronaldo all the way. In his prime he is on the very short list of best/most dangerous players EVER.
