Default Saints v Foxes [R]

2-0 in the first 15 minutes to the Foxes.

Ferdinand falls down(no doubt easily by the old man) in the box and Dickov scores on the penalty in the 5th

Then Les scores in the 10th. Come on, Saints.

From other sources, it sounds like that penalty was pretty questionable. At least Philips and Beattie came back and tied it up. A tie at Walkers on the opening weekend is good enough to keep me happy.

Default Bad Ref

I got to watch the match now. The ref had some stinker calls in that game. The 2 worst were the ones on the goals or the calls leading up to them. The first one nothing was done to ferdinand. The 2nd was the same only more violent. Ferdinand jumps through the air at full speed, crashing his elbow into LV's skull and doesn't get called? The whole stooping / jumping stuff is pretty basic refereeing. The 2nd one really, really ticked me off. The first one was a goof but the 2nd, Les was so out of control that it was absurd more wasn't done. It's too bad he didn't crash into Jones like that. Refs seem to get this call every time when it involves someone crashing into the keeper like a mad man. It was poetic justice that LF was hurt on the play.

Enjoy the point Foxes. It's going to be one of he few you get this year!
