Default Stupid question - blue leg strips?

What is with the 6 - 12 inch strips of blue material I see some Bremen players wearing on their legs (maybe saw one on an arm as well)? Looks like maybe it is some type of compression wrap or adhesive to cover a bad scrape or cut? Only asking here as have only seen Bremen players wearing them. I'm sure it's first-aid related, just have no idea what it is, and first thought my TV was screwed up somehow!

What is the status of Frings for a return? Best of luck in healing up and getting fit again.

P.S. - Don't dog me for being a Bayern fan, as a child I lived in Munich and saw my first game(s) there. Really I just follow the BundesLiga overall, and think it is the best European league as the players play hard and don’t dive and cry and whine over physical contact (refernce: Serie A, La Liga, anything in Portugal, etc.), though I also like EPL.

When was the last Bundesliga game you watched in which a player didn't dive or whine?

Everyone makes some mistakes in his life,
but nobody will dog you here.

I don´t know exactly what i mean. I didn´t notice it,
but it has propably a first-aid function as you suggested.

There i know more. He tries to start training with the team next week,
so maybe in 2 or 3 weeks we can see him again on pitch if everything
runs well.

the blue stripes are for taking care of old injuries or just to make sure they player feels ok running around without the fear of getting injured again… I think

I love Bayern, but I also follow the league in general, I love watching the games, you never get bored with the Bundesliga!

Well, this sometimes happens,
but i wanted to say "I don´t know exactly what you meant".

Googeling for the blue strips i found out,
that the whole Wolfsburg team had blue strips
for one match, but that was a charity action.

You're "choice" of favorite clubs is like watching Star Wars and cheering for the Imperial Forces and the Rebellion at the same time. And also for Hannover. (which in the Star Wars universe would be some ugly little species on an unknown boring desert planet or something like that)
