UEFA cup 2nd leg: Braga - Werder [R]
Squad, that travels to Braga:
Wiese, Boenisch, Naldo, Baumann, Vranjes, Fritz, Rosenberg,
Özil, Tosic, Owomoyela, Klasnic, Sanogo, Jensen, Almeida, Borowski,
Schindler, Mertesacker, Vander, Harnik, Kruse.
Diego stays in Bremen, because of injury (inflammation of the pubic bone).
Jensen, Hunt, Borowski or Özil will play the playmaker position instead.

Re: UEFA cup 2nd leg: Braga - Werder [R]
With or without Diego, we still should be able to eliminate Braga

Re: UEFA cup 2nd leg: Braga - Werder [R]
Well if we can beat Real Madrid without Diego, I'm sure we could do it against a team like Braga. A draw would be enough anyway. Diego's injury isn't so serious is it? So he should be fit to play against Frankfurt, no?

The injury is very serious.
Diego overloaded with far more than 100 matches (Werder, test matches, NT)
in the last 1.5 years and as a result the injury occurred.
It´s a very nasty injury, because it can´t get healed from one day to another.
If Diego continues to stay under high exposure the injury will become worse.
So Werder and he have to find the right exposure for him.
It´s good, that the injury is only at its beginning,
but as already said, the situation is tricky.

Yeah it's a tight schedule. Anyway, any chance of Ozil starting this game? The guy seems to have a lot of potential and he's damn speedy.
