Possible Trip
I've only been able to read through a few of the sticky threads, so I might post something that is already answered.
I decided that this being my last spring break, I'd like to make a trip to London to watch a game over one weekend. The dates I'm looking at coincide with either the home game to Boro on the 15th, or away to Chelsea on the 23rd. I'd really love to see a huge game like the Chelsea one, but I'm guessing tickets are going to be impossible to come by, so the game against Boro would probably be my best bet.
Are there any tips, or things you wish you knew before you made the trip (doesn't have to be match related)? I'll be looking for hotels in the Kensington/Mayfair area as I don't mind a bit of a commute to the game.
I'll be aiming for a Thursday-Sunday trip, so I'll hopefully be able to cram a few major attractions into 1 very busy day.

Before I moved into Royal Holloway, we stayed at a B&B in Crouch End, just up from Finsbury Park. Mountview Guesthouses.

Bus stops right at the main road and goes to Finsbury Park, or you can walk it, it'd be about 15 minutes or so. But once you're on the Victoria Line you're set. And close to Emirates. Extremely friendly owners and staff. Not that expensive, relatively. Continental or English breakfast included. Just a thought of somewhere else you could stay for cheaper.
