Did anyone see the assult by a spectator on the Irish ref in charge of the Sth Africa v NZ rugby international in Durban?

The spectator (who was very big) crash tacked the ref then tried to strangle him. The ref got a dislocated shoulder and had to be replaced, and I believe the assailant has been charged with grievous bodily harm.

The interesting thing was the way that the players jumped in and started bashing into the spectator. Violent conduct? Maybe, but I would hope players would do it for me.
