Fortuna Düsseldorf beats Werder Bremen 3:1 and Borussia Dortmund 1:0 to win "Stadtwerke Düsseldorf Wintercup" in an amittedly spotive valueless tournament, but it´s nice to see my team competing with some of Germany´s top-teams...and winning!

Congrats to the neighbours!

However, you have to take care ... since we won the Winter Cup last year, and got relegated in the end.

Good luck for the 2nd season half! Would't mind seeing you back in the professional football (as a big "Tote Hosen" fan).

PS: Is the Gladbach boy Ali Albertz still playing for Fortuna?

Pretty unremarkable pop rock. The felt 1 million times people started to sing "Hier kommt Alex" when I entered a room back in the day probably didn't help either. That song probably has a longer wikipedia entry than some countries: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hier_kommt_Alex

But I really like the video to "Alles aus Liebe". For the song, see sentence one of this post though.

Well, as for Fortuna Düsseldorf... Fortuna - Eintracht, back in 2002 was an awesome game. Had to say something soccer related .

Well, Fortuna have a few "hardcore fans" I don't really appreciate (I remember them from diverse derbies against Gladbach in the past). The rest of the fanship and the club are ok, though.

Btw: Here's the Fortuna "superstar" :-)

PS: The "LTU-Arena" in Düsseldorf is the biggest 3rd league stadium in Germany.

thanks a lot! Well, I don´t think, we´re threatened to be relegated...but if we don´t get promoted, that´s bad enough! Would like to see derbies against MGB again, too!

To be true, I have no idea, where he is...definitely not on our roster!
