Default Welcome Shea Salinas to the Quakes!

We just picked Shea Salinas in the draft!

That should make JazzyJ happy!

Sounds like an interesting player, but I think I would have preferred Avila. Must be something going on with this kid that the general public doesn't know for him to have dropped this far.

Yeah. I guess there were other players I would have taken, but.... I didn't watch any college ball, I didn't see the combine, I didn't talk to any coaches..... I'm going to trust in Yallop and Doyle's pick.

Right, Ian Russell comes to mind immediately. Hope he will develop into Mullan.

More observations from 3rd Degree....

*Salinas doesn't show up as having done anything to change Buzz's opinion, so no comments. However, in the comments, Buzz is asked about wide midfielders, and he says:

I think you're exactly right. This guy is supposed to be FAST! He'll be a wing player, and I bet he is like Ian Russell this year, and I hope he will develop into a Mullan-ish player soon after.

Then, I hope he develops even further into a "Salinas"! The hint is there when Buzz says "Good ball technique". Sounds more Mullan-ish than Russell-ian.

You're right, I am happy. "Blazing fast". As conservative as Yallop tends to be, he does seem to like to have a real fast player or two.

Russell, Mullan, Scott Bower... I liked 'em all.

Still hope we can get the real Brian Mullen.
