They all say that though don't they?
Tigana was going to not only make Europe last season but challenge for the title as well.
They may find that Anelka is more of a hinderance than a help as added scrutiny from the ref is something any team can do without.

1. Spurs
2. Leeds
3. Fulham
4. Arsenal
5. Man Utd
6. Liverpool

Gotcha. Just for laughs of course.

1. Man Utd
2. Arsenal
3. Liverpool
4. Chelsea
5. Leeds
6. Newcastle

It wouldn't surprise me if Man Utd and Liverpool flip-flop, but I think the Arse will be firmly entrenched back in their #2 spot. To be honest, the other 14 teams are absolute ***************e and it will be a shock if more than 1 finishes in the top 6.

1. Chelsea
2. Arsenal
3. Man Utd
4. Newcastle
5. Liverpool
6. Blackburn

Blackburn?
Got some good players, playing in Europe, so the confidence will be up. There is always a so-called outsider in there.
Man city? Borro? Fulham?

Default Top 3

Man united
Arsenal
Liverpool

Surely ONE of these teams is going to fail to make the top three. I reckon on Liverpool as they are settling in a few new players.

Chelsea to win the league?
Yeah, why the hell not. We have to believe it, the players do an all. Claudio reckons 4th would be good, Vialli would have said something different. don't matter really, just words, lets get on with the action.

well said Monkee
perhaps a season when the pundits are not picking us to win the league will take some pressure off the lads

even Alan Hansen thinks we will finish top6 and the Beeb has us finishing 4th

I still cant believe that (insert insult here) from soccernet.

This time last season, we all fancied our chances a lot more, dreaming on the imaginary skills of Gronks and Zenden. We know that we are sorted up front, we have some great strikers - Jimmy. Eidur, Zola back on form, Forrsselll and Cole looking like a big aggressive goal machine option. We have 3 great centre backs. We have got rid of the Joka!!!
We are a better squad than last season.

Crucial to this season is at least ONE of our creative wingers/Mids getting it together. IF just one of them can have a great season, everything else should fall into place.

The pressure is off us it seems, which is fine by me.

Btw - I'd love to see Leeds get relegated.

Hopefully we can keep the wide players healthy, its vital that Gronks and Zenden contribute this season. It was good to get rid of the Joka, but at least he went out with class with his comments concerning the club and the fans, hopefully a few footballers will follow this lead when the leave a club.
