Why San José is cool!
It seems that the SJ Murky News cannot figure out that our burgh is cool. Also, other folks not familiar with our town might not know why it is cool. That's ok. I don't think we expect visitors to know much about our town, given our Chamber of Commerce doesn't make a big effort to promote the city.
So here goes!
The Egyptian Rosicrucian Museum is massively cool. It contains the third largest collection of Egyptian Antiquities and replicas in the world. (After only the National Museum in Cairo and the National Museum in London.) And if you don't think replicas are cool, take note that many major museums around the world are currently returning items that were looted from their home countries and then "sold" to the museums. I don't think the Rosicrucians will be returning anything. Also, the museum has a bunch of 3/4 scale replicas of statues, obelisks, and so on made and painted to look new. It is most excellent!
That's my first. I'll add more later, but now it's your turn.
GOOOOOO QUAAAAAAAKES!!!!!

Actually, a few of those are scattered among various burbs. I guess it could be like counting the Lick Observatory, though. It's a ways up there.
